Saint Lucia is a Party to the Montreal Protocol on Substances that deplete the Ozone Layer. As a Party, St. Lucia must phase out the use of ozone depleting substances (ODSs) according to the stipulated phase out schedule.

In response to Saint Lucia’s obligations under the Protocol, the National Ozone Unit of Saint Lucia in collaboration with the OzonAction Programme has developed this website as part of its implementation and monitoring phase out activities.

Thus, this website is intended to promote national and regional initiatives, link stakeholders by providing an avenue for exchange of information and provide an interactive interface for the general public to access information on ozone layer depletion efforts.
